Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or book a service with The Mum Pod, run by Sammy Kerrod ("I", "me"). By using the site or booking with me, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email sammykerrod@themumpod.com.
Not medical advice
I'm a holistic sleep consultant and a birth and postnatal doula, not a doctor, midwife or health visitor. The information on this website, in my guides, emails, programmes and sessions is for general support and education. It isn't a substitute for medical advice. If you're worried about your baby's health or your own, including feeding, weight, breathing, reflux or how you're feeling emotionally, please speak to your GP, midwife or health visitor. In an emergency, call 999.
Every baby and family is different, so I can't promise particular results. My approach is responsive and led by you, and you stay in charge of every decision about your family.
Bookings and payment
- Prices are shown on the website or in your booking confirmation, in pounds sterling.
- I accept debit and credit cards. Payments are taken securely online through a payment link or at booking, processed by Stripe or Wix Payments.
- Sessions and packages are booked through this website or by payment link, and are confirmed once payment (or a deposit, where agreed) has been received.
- For doula packages, a non-refundable deposit secures your booking. The rest can be paid in instalments as we agree, as long as it's paid in full before the support ends.
- Anything specific to your service, such as what's included, how long support lasts, and cancellation or rescheduling, will be set out when you book. Where those details differ from these terms, they take priority.
Your right to cancel
If you book online or by phone, UK consumer law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind. If you ask me to start your support within those 14 days and then cancel, I may charge for the support already given. Once a service has been fully delivered, the right to cancel ends. Digital content, such as programme materials you can access straight away, may not be refundable once you've accessed it, and I'll tell you before you buy if that applies.
Rescheduling and missed sessions
Life with a baby is unpredictable, and I get it. If you need to move a session, please let me know as early as you can and we'll find another time. If I need to reschedule, I'll offer you a new time as soon as possible.
Group programmes
Places on the Working Mum Sleep Method are for you personally. Please don't share programme materials or other members' stories outside the group.
My content
Everything on this website and in my guides, programmes and plans, including text, images and resources, belongs to me or is used with permission. You're welcome to use it for your own family and to share links to it, but please don't copy, resell or republish it without asking first.
Using this website
I work hard to keep the site accurate and up to date, but I can't guarantee it will always be available or free from errors. Links to other websites are there to help you, and I'm not responsible for their content.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, or anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, my total responsibility to you for any service is limited to the amount you paid for it, and I'm not responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable.
Your information
How I use your personal information is explained in my Privacy Policy.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If we ever disagree, I'd always rather talk it through with you first.
